La salud sube, los sueldos se estancan

 Hace algunos días se reveló un estudio realizado por la Facultad de Economía y Negocios de la Universidad del Desarrollo, titulado "Análisis y evolución del índice de gasto en salud en el sistema de salud privado", que reveló una realidad que tiene bastante complicados a los trabajadores chilenos: el alza de las prestaciones, tanto ambulatorias como hospitalarias. Las cifras hablan por sí solas: los profesionales que se encuentran afiliados a alguna isapre, debieron acrecentar sus gastos de atenciones ambulatorias en un 9,7%; mientras que en casos de hospitalización, creció en un 13,5% . Ejemplificando en montos reales, si hace un año alguien pagaba $140.000 por un día en cama en alguna clínica, hoy debería desembolsar casi $160.000. Los mismo para las consultas ambulatorias con un médico de cualquier especialidad: antes se pagaba $35.000 por una hora, hoy los afiliados están entregando casi $37.000. Este estudio contempló el 95% de la cobertura del sistema de salud privada, que lo componen las isapres Banmédica, Colmena, Vida Tres, Masvida, Consalud y Cruz Blanca, y dentro de los factores utilizados para el análisis, se contempló: precio del plan, bonificación de la isapre, cantidad o frecuencia de uso de las prestaciones por parte de los afiliados y la utilización de las licencias médicas. Rodrigo Castro, decano de la Facultad de Economía y autor de la investigación, explicó a La Tercera que “el alza en el gasto responde a dos factores: el incremento del precio de las prestaciones (5,3%) y el aumento de la cantidad de atenciones realizadas por las personas al año (4,1%)”. Si dicha situación se presentara de la mano con una mejora en los sueldos de los trabajadores chilenos, este hecho no tendría mayor incidencia en el gasto de los profesionales, sin embargo, en nuestra actualidad nos enfrentamos ante a una sociedad que, de a poco, sube todos sus servicios, pero estanca los ingresos. ¿Ustedes notaron el alza? ¿La justifican? ¿Qué opinan frente a esta situación? |
